Nokia 7020 is expected to begin shipping in the Q4 2009 for an estimated retail price of 90 euro before subsidies and taxes. It will have four different color version - Graphite, Hot Pink, Varm silver and Blue. The final new name today is the Nokia 2720 fold - a clamshell phone with a decent design and an attractive price tag. It terms of features all it has to offer are a 1.3 megapixel camera, FM radio and dual-band GSM/GPRS support.
Piced at 80 euro (with 1GB memory card included in the retail package) the Nokia 2730 classic is expected to start shipping in Q3 2009. The other interesting handset is the stylish clamshell Nokia 7020. Targeted at users who don't want a tight budget to compromise their mobile phone's looks, it has a tad less features than the 2730 classic - with 3G being the most evident omission. Sporting some nice metal finishes, the Nokia 7020 comes with a 2.2" QVGA display plus a secondary more basic external unit. It pack FM radio, a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and EDGE and a mictoSD card slot. A built-in accelerometer enables some cool functionality like tap-for-time. Social networking integration is also duly covered, which might be a nice thing for teenage adopters.

Sony Ericsson recently announced the launch of its environmentally friendly handset, the GreenHeart concept phone. The device has a pretty decent life cycle and features a bio-plastic housing, recycled plastic keypad, zero charger (3.5mW standby power) and HTML based e-manuals (no more cut down trees for paper).
Plus, the GreenHeart comes with “Ecomate”, an educational app that’s pretty much a fun game. Even the package of the phone is environmentally friendly so owning, using and recycling the handset will solve some of Mother Nature’s issues.
While LG are getting ready to announce the Prada II, the Sony Ericsson G910 would make a fine rival for the first generation of handsets branded with the fashion designer’s logo. Designed by J. Havrlant, this concept phone is both stylish and touch-friendly.
Its navigational pad beneath the screen seems fairly easy to use, while the rest of the buttons surrounding it are (or seem) touch sensitive. I’m also betting that the display is a touchscreen and I can see that the handset features a frontal camera and probably Windows Mobile (notice the little icon on the left?).
Usually music phones show their nature via a couple of multimedia keys or through the Walkman branding, but there are a few handsets out there that resemble MP3 players so much that guessing their features is easy as pie. One of those is the Nokia 7280 and the other is J. Havrlant’s concept phone, the Sony Ericsson W509.
We’re dealing with a handset that comes with 4GB of internal memory, a 3.5 mm jack, a 176 x 220 display, a 2 megapixel camera and a MiniUSB. The W509 also uses extra music navigations keys and connects via EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA. Here’s the phone in glossy black:
Someone from Esato claimed that the next the XPERIA would be an excellent way of making the original handset into a lower end device, accessible for people with less cash and tech know-how. A mid-end XPERIA would surely blow the competition away, but would it canibalize the sales of the original handset?
XPERIA X2 was designed by J. Havrlant, a name you must have surely heard if you’ve seen our best Sony Ericsson concepts.
Notice that the neat touchscreen and interface are still there, WM flavour, but the next version of this XPERIA smartphone might lack the QWERTY keyboard. It’s the designer’s call there…
This concept phone’s main appeal is surely its 7.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and 5x optical zoom, coupled with a Walkman 3.0 player. You’ve got the best music player there is on a multimedia handset that uses a WVGA touch display and a front 0.48 megapixel camera (for 30 fps video recording).
The connectivity is quite standard (EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA/Wi-Fi), while the specs list also includes a 256 MB internal memory, M2 and microSD card support (8 GB max) plus a mini USB and 3.5 mm audio jack.
K5i also comes with XP and Vista support and it can be used as your webcam, with probably better quality than your laptop’s incorporated camera. This Sony Ericsson device was designed by J. Havrlant.
